Frequently asked questions
Yes, you own 100% of it. On final payment we hand over a clean, documented repository plus every design file and account. You can take the project to another team whenever you want, so you are never locked in with us.
No. Maintenance is optional. Because you own a clean, documented codebase, any competent developer can pick it up. We would like to keep supporting you, but you are free to leave at any point.
We quote a fixed scope. The price and milestones are agreed in writing before any work starts. If you change the scope, we tell you the cost and timeline impact first and you approve it before we build it. There are no surprise invoices.
Beyond the build there are a few small ongoing costs, such as the Apple and Google developer accounts, cloud hosting that scales with your users, and optional maintenance if you want it. They are modest next to the build itself, and we lay them all out clearly in your quote so nothing is a surprise.
Yes, and most of our clients are not developers. We translate the technical decisions into plain language, show you working software every week, and handle App Store and Google Play submission for you.
Yes, before you share anything sensitive. We treat every client's information as confidential by default. In practice, execution matters far more than the idea, and our job is to help you execute.
Every project includes a warranty period where we fix defects in what we built at no charge. You do not pay to fix our mistakes. We also test thoroughly before launch, so bugs are the exception.
Senior in-house engineers based in Canada do the work. You talk directly to the people building your app, not an account manager relaying messages to an offshore team.
We work in short milestones, so you are never far from a working deliverable and never pay for months of unseen work. If you pause or stop, you keep everything produced up to that point.
Expect roughly one to three hours a week: a short weekly demo and timely feedback on decisions. We do the heavy lifting and only need clear answers from you to keep moving.
It depends on the platforms, features and design scope, so we do not use fixed sticker prices. After a free consultation we give you a clear, fixed-scope quote. See our pricing page for how this works.
A typical MVP launches in 8 to 12 weeks and a full app in 4 to 7 months. You get a milestone timeline with your quote.
