How we approach each category
The categories above look different on screen but share one method. Discovery maps the users, the three jobs the app must do and the systems it must talk to. Design produces a clickable prototype that is tested before engineering starts. The build ships in short cycles with a demo on your own phone each week. Launch covers both stores, and support keeps the app compatible as iOS and Android change. What differs by category is where the risk sits: payments and identity in finance, records integration and privacy in health, offline behaviour in logistics, and retention in fitness and retail.
What a case study with us covers
When we walk you through past work on a call, we cover the same four things for each project: the challenge the client came with, what was in and out of scope for the first version, how it was built and why those technology choices were made, and what happened after launch. Some of this work sits under NDA, which is why the screens on this page are illustrative concepts rather than client screenshots. Ask and we will show you the closest projects to yours.
How to evaluate any app development portfolio
- Ask who did the work. The engineers and designers on the call should be the ones who built the examples.
- Ask what was cut from version one. Good teams can explain what they left out and why.
- Ask about the backend. Screens are the visible half; the API, data and integrations decide whether the app survives growth.
- Ask what happened after launch. OS updates, store policy changes and bug fixes reveal how a team supports its work.
- Ask to open the app. A live store listing or a TestFlight build tells you more than a slide.
What you own when we finish
Every example on this page ends the same way: the client owns the source repository, design files, store accounts and cloud infrastructure, with documentation that lets any competent team continue the work. See our FAQ for the detail on ownership, warranties and NDAs.
