mobileapplication.ca ("mobileapplication.ca", "we", "us", "our"), a service operated by Four Cents, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. Where we serve visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we also act consistently with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) principles.

Information we collect

When you submit our quote or contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, company (optional), project type, and the message you write. For security and spam prevention we also record your IP address, browser user agent, and the time of submission. We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not send us any.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are viewed). This data is aggregated and does not, by itself, identify you personally.

Why we are allowed to use it

We process your information on the basis of your consent (which you give by submitting a form), our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website, and, where relevant, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. You may withdraw consent at any time, though this will not affect processing already carried out.

Subject to applicable law, you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy in a portable format, or withdraw consent for future contact. Email us and we will respond within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the site and submit information at your own risk.

Do Not Track and cookies

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, we do not currently respond to them. See our Cookie Policy for how we use cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
