How to build an MVP
A good MVP is the smallest thing that proves your core hypothesis with real users. The discipline is in what you leave out.
Define the one hypothesis
State the single belief your MVP must test — e.g., “busy parents will pay for on-demand tutoring booking.” Everything in the MVP should serve testing that.
Map the core loop
Identify the smallest end-to-end loop that delivers value, and build only that. Defer settings, edge cases and secondary features.
Instrument learning
Add analytics for activation and the core action from day one — the MVP exists to produce data.
